Karen Millen, £250
I’m sure most of you have worked out by now that I have a lot of love to spare for Karen Millen at the moment, so it will come as no surprise to see these amazing, limited edition peep toes pop up here today.
Now, these are the kind of shoes I have absolutely no need for whatsoever. They’d make amazing bridal shoes, but… I’m already married. They’d be wonderful on the red carpet, but… I don’t ever walk on one. They’d work perfectly for the kind of special occasion you count down towards for weeks, and buy yourself a whole new outfit for, but sadly those kind of occasions are sadly lacking in my life at the moment, and while I have been known to throw on a pair of sparkly shoes with jeans, or simply to wear them around the house, I think £250 is a little too much to pay for what would essentially end up being a pair of very OTT slippers.
That being the case, it’s going to be up to you to find an excuse to wear these. If you have one handy, you’ll find these to be the kind of shoe that will work with everything (Yes, even sweatpants, although that would be a terrible waste…), and which you’ll want to put on display when you’re not wearing them. I’d definitely recommend doing that, by the way: shoes are better than ornaments any day!
I can’t think of any occasion that would warrant me buying them but… I still want them.
