At first I thought these star-shaped shoe clips were a brilliant idea. Then I looked at the price.
Don’t get me wrong, they’re still a great idea (albeit not a new one): just clip them on to any old shoe to instantly give it a new lease of life. As you can see from the images above, you can either keep it simple, with just one clip per shoe, or go all out with lots of them, and if you get tired of the look, well, you just take them back off.
But they’re £30 per packet, and that’s the SALE price. They were £75 per packet and… yeah, some of my shoes didn’t cost that much. Personally, I think I’d probably hold out for a cheaper option (if you’re good at crafts, you could make some yourself. My good friend Erin at Pretty Vintage is great at this. Me… not so much.). If you’re feeling flush, however, you can buy yourself these ones at Spoiled Brat.
I love the idea but would opt to make them myself rather than pay so much.

those are absolutely lovely! I hope I can figure out a way to make them myself.
I am nowhere near arty enough to make them myself so I’d have to buy them. Oh well.

This is a thought: A pair of cute, large, vintage CLIP ON EARRINGS and you’ll get the same effect for a mere fraction of the price. You’re welcome.
