Jimmy Choo ‘Maya’ studded suede bow pumps, £695
These are yet another pair of shoes I’ve had bookmarked for a while now, just waiting on an opportunity to show you them: I’m just glad they didn’t sell out before I got around to it, because it would be such a shame for these beauties to go un-noticed here at Shoeperwoman!
They’re by Jimmy Choo, and when I look at them I’m reminded how glad I am that pointed toes came back into fashion, because it’s a shape that really lends itself to this particular style. On a rounder toe, these would have a very girlish look: on this one, however, they’re sharp and sophisticated, with the studded upper offsetting the sweetness of the bow rather nicely.
I’ve included the model shot here, partly because I think these look particularly nice on, but also because I really like the dress, too. I should probably stay away from Net-a-Porter: it’s all just too tempting!
These are the first pointy toe shoes I’ve liked since they came back in fashion.
