J Crew pumps, £261
By the time you read this, I’ll have been in the land of J Crew for over a week, and I would imagine I’ll have already have had to exert every bit of willpower I posses to prevent myself buying these shoes.
I’m fairly sure I’ll manage to resist: £261 is a lot of money for a pair of fabric-topped shoes, after all, no matter how wonderful they look, and I’m not sure that cotton/nylon upper would be very practical in the typical Scottish downpours back home. Still, they do look fabulous, in that nautical/preppy kind of style that J Crew does so well. This shape is one that J Crew release fairly often, and it’s a real classic. The pointed toe and bow embellishment is absolutely perfect, and when you add the stripe upper, well, it only gets better.
If you’re not keen on stripes, however, these also come with a regatta print upper, which is certainly a different take on the nautical trend!
Beatiful article. J crew has got to be one of my favorite brands
