Ah, Marc Jacobs famous mouse ballet flats! They’re definitely one of the more recognisable shoes in the world today: I guess a pair of ears, eyes and whiskers will do that for any shoe, though.
This style has been around for a while now, in various different guises – this particular pair is $220 at Bloomingdales – but what do you think of the mouse shoes? Would you buy a pair? Do you already own a pair? Or do you prefer your footwear NOT have a face? Tell me!
These still exist? I still think the same thing I thought when they first appeared: would be cute on children, but just plain silly on grown women. If I want interesting or playful shoes, I usually opt for a bright color. I would wear the mouse face on a t-shirt perhaps, but I take shoes quite seriously.
Cute if you’re 3 years old.
Perfect for extremely rich 7-year-old girls. Not for anyone else.
I have tried these on so many times in recent years but I just can’t bring myself to buy them.

i love them!! cute
Maybe if I was 6 years old….
I have the super old version, the white ones with the light brown ears and plastic whiskers. They’re really cute, but I’ve had them for 2 years though and one of the eyes has just fallen off.
Pigeons were frightened off them too, which was excellent.
I would replace them but I don’t like the updated versions as much. They look frightening rather than cute.

Uh, no.
I don’t know about these. They are kind of cute, but I’d feel bad if I stubbed my toe and banged the little mouse face up. Maybe that’s just me, though.

Not really keen on the idea of having those beady little eyes looking up my skirt.

I have the leopard kind and i love them to death.
I bought these a few weeks ago. They are absolutely ridiculous but they make me smile every time I look at them. And actually as I was writing this TWO people on the subway complimented them!
wow… Im actually surprised that majority of ppl dont like them! Well, I absolutely love them and just cant make up my mind which ones i like the most
I have them in black patent and LOVE them.
I bought them in Venice last September and am delighted with their comfort and cheerfulness. They look great with capri pants.
I am also one of the fans of these cute shoes!
Does anyone know how the size fits: regular or small?
(is it necessary to tak 1 size bigger?)
Thanks!
I have these and love them! I get a complement every time I wear them!
