These shoes aren’t new: they’ve been available on the Miss Selfridge site for a few weeks now, but it’s taken me that long to work out how I felt about them! I’ve finally decided that I love them, though: or at least, I think I do. They’re kinda over-the-top, and I’ve no idea how they’d actually look on a foot, but I think they’re lots of fun, and I really love the dots (which are going to be big this year. I’ve decided.). They also very much remind me of some of the Charlotte Olympia styles from last year, as they have a similar, slightly-cartoonish feel about them.
What do you think of these, readers? If you like them, you’ll be pleased to know they’re a relatively affordable £40, and you can buy them here.
Cartoonish is right – I’m afraid they make me think of Mini Mouse!
I’m actually going to agree with you on the cute. I think they’d be way better without the front platform, but I still like them. But really, bows are my kryptonite.
The style is good. The pattern, not so much.

I’ve been looking at these for a few minutes now, and I can’t wipe the frown off my face. There is something very… off about them. I think it’s mostly the platform and the weird chunky heel. It makes them look clumsy. The bow, however, is very cute, and I am a sucker for polka dots.
Love these shoes… only saw them this week in a magazine dated 4th feb 2010 and have to have them.. Unfortunately I can’t buy them online & have spent days ringing branches all over UK & ireland but most of the stores never had them & don’t know if they are getting them at all, tried e-mailing shop but no reply as yet. Soo frustrating… does anyone know how i can get a size 4??????
