I think even I would look forward to cold weather if it meant having an excuse to wear these beauties. The upper is the same purple suede featured on last week’s Friday Fix, and once again I have to comment on how perfectly it contrasts with that famous red sole. Everything else about these is pretty perfect, too: I absolutely love the zip-trimmed corsage, but these would still have been a strikingly beautiful shoe/boot without it.
Take note, high street designers: it IS possible to make boots every bit as beautiful as shoes. This is how you do it…
