Today I have a shoe-specific preview for you, in the shape of this small selection from Dorothy Perkins’ spring/summer 2015 shoe collection.
There’s good news and bad news here.
The bad news is that high-leg gladiator sandals seem to be making a comeback. Of course, this might actually be GOOD news for those of you who love this style (I’m assuming there are plenty of you out there, because it’s a look that makes a comeback every few years, so someone must be buying all these gladiator sandals!), but for those who don’t like the gladiator look, the REAL good news is that there are plenty of other options available, too.
Of these, the gold wooden-soled platforms are my favourites, although I also like the metallic flats. Many of these shoes will also work well with the 70s-style clothes which have featured in all of my summer previews so far: I hope you like 70s fashion, everyone, because it looks like there’s going to be a lot of it around this summer!
Take a look at the shoes in the gallery below, and keep an eye on the Dorothy Perkins website if there are any you’d like to buy!
I love those seventies sandals in gold, but oh, that heel! (and I guess the coral/pink version with be very tempting for me as well…)
