Carvela ‘Annabelle’ pointed toe bow court shoes, £100
According to the ASOS website, Carvela is the “glamorous older sister” of the Kurt Geiger shoe family. Now, I have to admit, I haven’t ever really thought of the brand in those particular terms, but I guess I can kind of see it in the case of these ‘Annabelle’ pumps, which somehow feel a little more “grown up” than some of the other shoes I feature here. I’m not sure whether it’s pointed toes in general, or these pointed toes in particular that gives me that impression, but in spite of the hot pink colour (Which, let’s face it, normally makes me think of Barbie. Who, I guess, was everyone’s “glamorous older sister”…), I see these more as office shoes than as party shoes, say. Could you get away with hot pink to the office? I guess it depends on the job, but if your workplace wouldn’t exactly be wild for it, don’t worry, these are also available in black!
