These shoes may not look like much in the picture, but I managed to see them in person a few weeks ago, and they were actually rather stunning: the kind of shoes you could wear pretty much anywhere, and dress up or down as required.
This is actually a slight departure for me, because I can normally be guaranteed to hate anything that can have the word “brogue” applied to it, but the brogue detailing on these shoes is subtle enough even for me, and the stiletto heel and canvas bow help give the shoes a feminine look that many brogues just don’t manage.
These are £50,and available in nude and black from Barratts.

I like’em.
I have never been to Barratts though..
Totally with you on this one: not a fan of brogues but these are really cute. They’d be perfect for work.
Oh my, they are just gorgeous. See it’s just not fair, you have all these lovely shoe shops, and I sit here in New Zealand ogling and coveting and wondering if it’s worth the international shipping (and that’s only in the case of the companies that do ship internationally). You realise you are at least partially responsible for the enormous list of shops I’ll be visiting on our trip to England next year?
These are really cute!
Lovely, and perfect for work indeed!
