I’m not sure whether this was the designer’s intention or not, but the patchwork applique on the front of these shoes looks a little bit like leaves to me, and makes these shoes seem very appropriate for Autumn.
As well as the multicoloured “leaves”, these also have a python-print patent upper, plus a chunky platform and heel. The overall effect is a little more clumpy than I’d generally wear myself (I tend to think a chunky platform needs as high a heel as possible to stop it looking clumsy. Mind you, I think that about most shoes…) but it’s a shape that’s very fashionable at the moment, and the combination of thick heel and platform should make these shoes reasonably comfortable to walk in, too.

I agree with you, too chunky for my taste.
I love the shape, but hate the color scheme. Since I am short and chunky myself, I always feel faintly ridiculous in pencil heeled anything. As far as the color scheme- the combination of pastels and red just doesn’t suit my taste.
I’ll sit on the fence because I can’t decide how I feel about them.
This is not a graceful shape for a shoe!
