Of all of the various takes on the infamous (at least on this site) Zara asymmetric pumps which have popped up over the last year or so, I think these ones by Alice + Olivia are my current favourites. The sides aren’t as steeply sloped as the Zara shoes, which means that, for me, the shape isn’t quite as stunning, but the bright red suede is a true show-stopper, and perhaps even nicer than the plain black originals.
These shoes are actually available in black leather too, as well as in a burgundy suede. The red version, however, is selling out fast (unsurprisingly), so if you want to buy a pair, you might need to be prepared to wait a while to see if they come back into stock. Saw these the other day, wish the heel had a bit more of an inward curve, but very cute all the same. They just seem more like an office shoe rather than one I would wear out.
That red is wonderful. Perhaps asymmetrical pumps are what’s missing from my life.
