Full disclosure: I’ve never been much of a fan of Acne, either the skin condition or the brand. While I’d imagine I’m not alone in my lack of love for the former, however, I know the latter has some devoted followers, and presumably that’s who these boots are aimed at. For me, well, I’m loving wedge boots at the moment, and would love to find the perfect pair for winter, but these won’t be on my wish list: they’re way too clumpy, and I have a feeling they’d make my feet look absolutely enormous.
Not for me, then, but if they do it for you, they’re £355 at Browns.
Frankenboots. Or Herman Munster.
Alexa Chung wore these on a recent airing of “It’s On With Alexa Chung” on MTV and I found myself wondering about them as well.
How does a designer think that there are people out there who would buy these? I don’t understand.

Sorry but they look like the boots they used to make kids wear to correct bone deficiencies.
As much as I echo the opinions posted above to a certain extent, I reckon quite a fair number of prominent fashion bloggers did buy those shoes.

They did – I don’t think that means they’re automatically wonderful, though?
I LOVE and hate them. But this is how I always feel first about a lot of my shoe obsessions. 😉
