I don’t normally go for square-toed shoes, but the fact that these ones by Guess remind me more of pointe ballet shoes, and less of Roald Dahl’s The Witches is a good sign. Another good sign is the red suede uppers, which are bright without being brash, as can often be the case with red shoes.

Wow! I love these, and would absolutely add them to my ruby shoesday collection if I had a spare $100 just laying around.
Pretty as they are, I’m not fully convinced by the folded toe part. I would prefer a different solution for that.
I have a pair of shoes very similar to those, but the heel is much shorter. I love them.
