Shoeper Shoe Challenge #11: Old Faithful

black boots Shoeper Shoe Challenge #11: Old Faithful

What: Back vintage style boots, New Look
When: Monday, March 8th
Where: Visiting my in-laws
With: Black dress (H&M), green scarf (thrifted); belt (no idea)

4am. That’s what time it was when I finished work last night. It was 4:30am by the time I finished taking my makeup off, shutting down the computer and generally faffing around, so at least 5am by the time I actually got to sleep. Let me tell you, I am neither a morning person OR a night person: I just like my sleep, and I haven’t had nearly enough of it today, so don’t be deceived by the photo above – I’m jumping for joy because the Oscars are over for another year, but I’m also absolutely shattered. And also: grumpy.

Because of my late night, I decided to stick with an old favourite when I was getting dressed this morning: these boots are the black version of the brown boots I wore here, and, um, one half of which I wore here. Like the brown versions, they’re an old faithful, and are super-comfortable. Especially when I wear both of them at the same time (ahem)…
