Time to start thinking about next year’s shoes, folks…
The Spring/Summer 2011 Vivienne Westwood for Melissa range is now available to pre-order on the Vivienne Westwood website (with some styles available to buy now), and features two variations on the Lady Dragon style: a new selection of colours for the heart shoes, and a brand new style in the shape of the skull shoes shown above, which also come in a range of colours. Want to see some more?
Slip on wedges.
Croc-print Mary Janes and heart-shaped flip flops.
Lady Dragons, ankle boots and strappy courts.
And a few more colour options: it’s worth visiting the website to see them all, though, because I didn’t have time to show you every option here.
By now you all know I’m a huge fan of the Anglomania/Melissa collaboration, but it’s still the Lady Dragons that hold most appeal for me, so I’m glad to see there are still new versions of them coming out!
I’m nothing if not predictable – the red lady dragons with the gold heart get my vote!
I like only the “classic” variation with hearts.
Red and blue for me please!
Oh, thanks for showing these – I love them, and now I think I need a pair (I like the lady dragons and those fab Mary Janes!)
Ah, I like the bow and cross bones ones.
I actually JUST got my pair of Lady Dragons- lilac with the red seal, and they are AWESOME. So I’ll be keeping my eye on these.
I’m glad you said it was a skull, because all I saw was a bow. I still want those shoes, though.
I LOVE those Mary Jane animal skin ones. I’ve seen them in Pink at the Hervia website… tempted to ask Santa! 🙂
Love the red Lady Dragons, but H hates them and as I’ve got 2 pairs already, I’d better not.
I can’t believe your young man doesn’t like them, Fi! Mine was dubious when I ordered my fuschia pair, but he loves them – when I ask him for outfit advice it almost always ends with ‘wear your Vivienne Westwoods!’ I’ll admit, that probably makes him a bit strange.
And I disagree. I have two pairs – I want more!
Terry doesn’t like them either: he’s diplomatic enough to say that while he doesn’t like the shoes, he thinks I look “nice” in them – I know he’s just being polite, but I wear them anyway. I figure I love them enough for both of us 🙂
Haha okay well now I’m wondering if Nic is just being polite! No matter, I think they’re excellent too 🙂
My partner thinks they look “tacky”, yeah. They just must not be a boy thing!
I love the blue Mary Janes!
