ASOS ‘Panorama’ pink high heels, £25
I wrote about ASOS’s pink ‘Panorama’ heels back in February, and finally succumbed to the pale pink upper and low price a couple of weeks later. I obviously bought them just in time, too, because when I checked the ASOS website prior to writing this post, I discovered that they’re now sold out – whoops. I decided to post these photos anyway, because ASOS do regularly re-stock items, so they may well re-appear there… and also because I’d already taken the photos before I realised they weren’t available, and, well, it would be a shame for them to go to waste.
It was my ongoing obsession with pink that prompted me to buy these shoes, but I have to admit that, when I took them out of the box, I was a little surprised by just HOW pink they were. On the ASOS website, they appeared to be a fairly pale, pastel shade: in real life they’re much brighter, and although I do like the colour, it’ll be a little harder to wear than I’d anticipated.
Other than the colour, however, there were no further surprises: these are a really lovely shape, with a low vamp (which I love), and a true-to-size fit – I ordered my usual size UK 4, and they fit me perfectly. I haven’t yet worn them outdoors, because apart from a couple of rare sunny days, it’s been too rainy for me to want to risk suede shoes, but I have had a bit of a trying-on session with them, and have a few different outfits lined up for when the weather is a little bit drier – if that ever happens.
For £25, I think these are pretty good quality: they aren’t real suede, obviously, but they’re not that cardboard-feeling imitation stuff either. They feel nice to wear, and have a padded insole, too, which is always a good idea with a high heel – extra cushioning never goes amiss!
They have a lovely shape – exactly the shape I love on shoes!
These are so pretty! I love their shape and color!
oh my its sooooo pretty! the color is just gorgeous and the shape and arch is perfect!
Hi,
I want to order these but I’m normally a 5.5 in shoes. What size should I get?
