Seeing as I started off with a pink theme this morning, I thought I may as well continue it by showing you these ‘Heidi; pumps by Ravel, which are actually a very purple-ish pink, as opposed to the brighter shades of the other shoes I’ve featured recently.
Any discussion of these shoes has to start off with the heel:
A combination of studs and bows, all attached to a nice, chunky heel, which somehow makes the embellishments a little less fussy looking than might be the case on the stiletto.
Where I think these shoes may lose a few fans is with the very low-vamped toes:
I think it would be hard to avoid showing a bit of toe cleavage in these, which may put some of you off. We actually discussed the important issue of toe cleavage over at The Fashion Police a couple of weeks ago, and from the comments on that post I learned that it’s pretty much universally despised. I, however, kinda like it: I’m not sure why, because I hate feet in general, but I think a hint of toe cleavage can be quite sexy, so the low cut on these would be a bonus for me, although perhaps I’m the only one!
What do you think of these? They’re £75 and you can click here to buy them from Spartoo.
Simply loooooovely! I don’t like toe cleavage at all, but the embellishment and the color, AND chunky heel – I do love it – made my mind, I’ll try to get them now!
I can live with toe cleavage for a pretty pair of shoes like this.
