I wrote a roundup of some of my favourite winter coats a few weeks ago, but fashion moves fast these days, and many of those coats are already sold out. Not to worry, though: there are plenty of new coats in town: here are four more favourites for you to try…
Miss Selfridge fur collar pea coat, £89
Quite a few of my fellow bloggers have purchased this coat, and it’s not hard to see why it’s so popular: it has a real “princess” feel about it, doesn’t it? I love the baby blue colour and the faux-fur collar: one word of warning, though: most of the reviews mention this runs as much as two sizes large, so you might want to consider sizing down, if you’re not able to try before you buy!
Also from Miss Selfridge (who’ve really been on a roll this season: I bought my own winter coat from them a few weeks ago, but have seen plenty of others since that I’d happily wear, too!) is this beauty:
Miss Selfridge belted fit-and-flare coat, £89
This coat was actually released last year in a gorgeous forest green shade, and I spent the entire winter regretting not buying it. This year it’s available in black and cream: my preference would be for the cream version shown above, which has a real “ice queen” vibe. I love oversized faux-fur collars on coats: they add a real touch of glamour, which is always welcome!
Dorothy Perkins baby blue winter coat, £65
Baby blue was huge last winter, and it looks like that trend will continue this year: I feel like I’ve been finding more pale blue winter coats than any other colour! This one is by Dorothy Perkins, and has a cocoon shape which will look good over skinny jeans or trousers.
Finally, another pea coat, this time in an unusual coral/pink colour:
Warehouse pink pea coat, £90
I don’t know about you, but I’m really happy to see last year’s pastel coat trend continue into this winter: I just wish I didn’t feel the urge to collect every available colour!
That second Miss Selfridge coat is magnificent!
