I thought I’d show you something a little different for this week’s Friday Fix, so instead of the usual, fancy stiletto, here’s a rock-chick kinda boot instead!
Now, I’ve never been much of a one for boots. Sure, I own more than my fair share of them, but I don’t get excited over them the way some people do, and I’ve always thought that even the nicest pair of boots out there aren’t even half as beautiful as the nicest pair of shoes, but here I am, lusting over my second pair of Louboutin boots in the space of just a few weeks!
These are very different from the Vicky Botta boots, of course, but although they’re far from my usual style, I really like them, and think they’d be the perfect footwear for casual, wintry outfits – just add a pair of black skinnies and a beat-up leather jacket, and you’re done! You’re also $2,295 poorer, mind you, which is the bad news in all of this, and the reason I’ll be looking out for a high-street version!
If you’d like to buy these, meanwhile, you can click here to get them from Neiman Marcus.
Can’t believe it! I hadn’t seen the CL Marissa studded boots before, but now that I have, I have to say that I’ve already found a nice alternative to them!
It’s from a Greek brand called Tsakiris Mallas, and I just wrote a post on Monday to show some of their shoes that were “inspired” by big desingners. Can’t believe I missed that! If you’re interested, here’s a link to the Tsakiris Mallas ones: http://www.tsakirismallas.gr/gr/img.php?src=items/portfolio/lg/IMG_0375.jpg. Feel free to delete the link from my comment, if you don’t like it here, but I just wanted to let you know. They are almost identical! They also have a facebook page.

They’re a bit too studly for me.
No, I can’t believe I just said that either.
