Pierre Hardy neoprene and patent-leather sandals

Every so often, I come across a pair of shoes which are interesting, unusual… and which I just can’t make my mind up about. These Pierre Hardy sandals are one of those pairs of shoes. With their neoprene upper and neon pink accents, they’re definitely different, and perfect for the spring/summer season: the neutral base colour will make them easy enough to wear, and while the neon pink is definitely a stand-out colour, the fact that it appears only on the straps means that it doesn’t overwhelm the eye.

All of that said, I still don’t love these, so my £680 is safe. If yours isn’t, however, you can click here to buy them at Net-a-Porter.

Blue and green is a colour combination I’ve been wearing quite a lot of recently, so these boots would fit right into my wardrobe around about now! (I can’t tell you how strange it feels to say that: this time last year I wouldn’t even have dreamt of combining two bright colours: how the times have changed!) Even if they didn’t, though, I’d still really enjoy looking at them: it is, after all, a particularly lovely shade of green, and a particularly bright shade of blue, and it does me good just to look at the two combined. Looking is ALL I’ll be doing, however: these are £780, which makes them an expensive bit of eye-candy. So you want to buy them, you can click here, and if, like me, you just want to look at them, here’s another photo to stare at:

As with The Outnet, I try to avoid showing you too many pairs of shoes from Yoox.com because, as it’s an outlet site, they don’t always have a huge range of sizes available, and I wouldn’t want to get your hopes up only to dash them into tiny pieces, would I?

In this case, though, I hope you’re willing to forgive me, not just because these are actually still in stock in a few sizes (or they are at the time of writing, anyway), but because… well, look at them. Do I really need to say any more?

Pierre Hardy for Gap bow wedges now on sale

I was a little underwhelmed by these shoes when they were first released, but they’re one of those styles that’s completely transformed as soon as you wear it, and having seen photos of lots of different people wearing these now, my opinion has done a complete 360, and now I love them: which is why I was so pleased to see that they’re currently on sale for $79.99 from the original $110, and less pleased to see that they’re no longer available in my size. Boo!

If you happen to wear one of the sizes that are still available, these wedges are the perfect combination of simple and extravagant, with the nude uppers having a leg-elongating effect (assuming they’re the same kind of “nude” as you are, that is) you don’t normally tend to associate with wedges, and the scarf that ties around the ankle adding a quirky, “look-at-me” touch.

Click here to buy them from Gap, who are AT LAST offering international shipping from their website. And about time, too!

Pierre Hardy paillette t-bar sandals

pierre hardyy paiillet shoe Pierre Hardy paillette t bar sandalsPaillettes! Well, they definitely make a change from all of the sequins we’ve been seeing lately (although I guess it could be argued that they’re a bit like giant sequins themselves).

These shoes are fabulous to look at, and probably make a wonderful sound when you walk in them (Which could get old after a while, granted), but $1,415? Wow. The sequins are suddenly starting to look attractive again…

OK, I’m just going to be honest with you: if you choose to stick around, you’re going to be seeing a lot of peep toes on this site. Don’t say you haven’t been warned.

Peep toes are the most effective form of kryptonite ever invented as far as your shoe superhero is concerned. They quite literally make me weak at the knees. Add in a super-high stiletto heel and a super-sexy, curvy design, and I’m basically putty in their hands. Or in their feet, as the case may be.

These ones are by Pierre Hardy, and they’re also available in bright pink. Aren’t they just shoeper?
