Tag Archives: moschinoMoschino heart front peep toe shoesIt’s been a while since I showed you a pair of heart-front shoes, so let’s fix that right this very second, with these black, white and red peep toes by Moschino, which are $769 at Zappos Couture. I particularly like the shape of the heart on these, and the way it loops down into the peep toe, making it less kitsch than some of the heart embellishments I’ve featured. I’m also keen on the colour mix, and while my preference is always going to be for a slightly higher heel (these are 3″), the pyramid shape of this one is a nice finishing touch. What do you think? Those points aside, the more I look at these shoes, the more I like them. The shape of the peep toe is particularly nice, and these have something of a fairytale feel to them – or maybe I’ve just been reading too many ‘Alice In Wonderland’ themed press releases lately. Also, look! Stripes on the insole! That does it for me… If it does it for you, too, these are £195 at Yoox, with a range of sizes still available.

Moschino Cheap & Chic nude pumps with pink embellishment
These are $515, and are available to buy direct from the Moschino website. Pink cutout wedges by Moschino Cheap & Chic
Maybe I’m just being paranoid, but I could swear these shoes are sticking their tongues out at me. They are, aren’t they! The cheek of it! Strange “tongue” detail aside, these are great fun, although I’m finding it easier to picture them on Barbie than on actual human beings. The cut-out at the back of the heel is obviously the stand-out detail here, but I actually think the bright pink colour is what really makes them stand out. If you want to be a Barbie girl, these are 587 from Moschino. Moschino velvet ankle boots and metallic sandals. In one.
Do not adjust your sets, readers : this isn’t two different pairs of shoes, it’s the same shoe, photographed from two different sides. I KNOW! That’s what I thought, too. I mean, can you even imagine a situation in which this would suddenly become practical? If you can, please tell me: I’m genuinely fascinated by this… |
