How do you make a plain pair of black thigh-high boots stand out?
Well, to be honest, I don’t think you really need to try to make them stand out: they have a way of doing that all by themselves. If you really want to give them that little something extra, though, this would be the way to do it:
Yup, those be spikes. Big ones. I couldn’t love them any more if I tried, because when I looked at the smaller photo, I thought they were crystals, and I was a bit “meh”, about the idea. Spikes, though? Spikes are sometimes the way to a Shoeper heart, and this would appear to be one of those times.

I can’t do thigh-high boots. They are never long enough and end up being just over the knee for me. Which looks silly.
