Oscar de la Renta appliqué patent sandals with flower

I’ve been eyeing these Oscar de la Renta shoes for quite a while now on Net-a-Porter, and I’m not a bit surprised to see that they’ve sold out in quite a few sizes. The flower, of course,  just makes them super-summery, and the colour doesn’t hurt, either. If that flower is just a little too whimsical for your tastes, though, you’ll be pleased to know it comes off, leaving you with a simple pair of sandals – although not a pair I’d necessarily pay £485 for.

If you have a pair of bright coloured sandals, though, this look would be fairly easy to recreate, using any one of the corsages or flower brooches you can find in most accessory stores or departments at the moment.
