1. ShopStyle
ShopStyle is basically an aggregator site: it pulls in feeds from hundreds of different retailers, so rather than trawling through all of those individual websites, you can go here and find everything in the same place. The site is updated constantly, so you can click on the “shoes” tab at the top of the page and browse what’s new (there’s also a sidebar which allows you to filter the results by brand, price, colour and size, which makes it a whole lot easier – and if you use the “size” option, you can also avoid the horror of finding the perfect shoes, only to discover they don’t have them in your size!), or you can simply type what you’re looking for into the search box on the homepage, and take your pick. By typing in “red and white stripe shoes”, here’s what I got:

As you can see, it’s not perfect: there are some shoes in there that don’t match the description, and as not all retailers are in the ShopStyle network, there’s always a chance that you’re missing out on something, but it’s a good starting point. Also, this is just one section of results, which I haven’t bothered to filter!
If that doesn’t work for you, however…

If you’ve got an image of the shoes you want you can always google image search as well
I actually mentioned that in the post: it’s under the “Google Shopping” heading 🙂
Ah sorry I didn’t scroll all the way down 🙂
I think polyvore.com also isn’t a bad place to search.
I have a picture of a shoe that I took from facebook but when I try to past it to google image it doesntbring anything up??
