‘Michael’ Michael Kors ‘Keegan’ wedges, $135
I actually ordered a pair of these last week, with the intention of using them as my summer vacation shoes. If you’re a longtime reader, you’ll know I swear by gold or nude wedges for vacation time: I find them comfortable enough to do a lot of walking in (more so than flats, which I know surprises people, but I find wedges/heels provide much better arch support), while still giving me an extra bit of height. These are gorgeous in person, and the gold upper will allow me to dress them up or down, making them a good addition to my always crammed suitcase.
LK Bennett ‘Fern’ polka dot pumps, $365
I’ve had my eye on these polka dot heels for a while now: the pointed toe is just a little bit longer than I’d like, but I always find it hard to resist a good polka dot!
Giuseppe Zanotti black patent sandals,$795
OK, so these are pretty expensive, even taking into account the 20% discount you’ll be able to get on them, but just look at how sleek and sexy they are! They’re like the Darth Vader of sandals – and I mean that as a compliment, honest!
Carvela ‘Albert’ d’orsay pumps, $165
Finally, Shopbop recently started selling selected shoes from the Carvela and Kurt Geiger ranges, and one of my favourite of the available styles is ‘Albert’ here. This high-heeled d’orsay pump has a glittered upper in a go-with-anything gold, which will make it the perfect evening shoe.
