Charlize Theron looked stunning in this simple black dress at the 13th Annual Hollywood Awards Gala this week, but, predictably enough, I though the shoes stole the show. These are by Christian Louboutin, and have been available in a couple of different colour combinations, but I think this is the first time I’ve seen someone wearing this red velvet/silver glitter version. It’s one of those things that sounds like it shouldn’t possibly work (other than on a Christmas tree, possibly), but I think it looks fantastic, although I suspect not everyone will agree with me.
