As I’m sure my regular readers can testify, I rarely meet a Louboutin I don’t like, but while everyone else was cooing over Leighton Meester’s shoes at the Teen Choice Awards earlier this week, I was just a little put off by the size of those pom-poms, although, with that said, the more I look at them, the more I start to be won over by the sheer extravagance of them. Now, we all know Blair Waldorf wouldn’t be seen dead in a pair of rubber flip-flops (especially not in the middle of Manhattan!), but Leighton Meester and Blake Lively have no such qualms: here they are giving their feet a break from heels during a filming break on the Gossip Girl set, before slipping back into their shoes when the cameras start to roll.

I thought Leighton Meester was by far the Best Dressed at this week’s Teen Choice Awards, not just for her gorgeous Louis Vuitton dress (in a nautical style, which naturally I’d love), but for these fabulous red platform shoes. These are by Brian Atwood, but I haven’t been able to find them online, so if anyone knows where to buy them, feel free to tell me in the comments!
