Hallelujah! It’s a pair of boots that DON’T have a peep toe, or, indeed, any other strange, cut-out bits. And I realize that, at first glance, they do LOOK a bit like they have a peep toe, on account of that patent toe cap, but trust me: Shoeperwoman would not guide you wrong on this most important of issues.
BUT. They remind me of a chair. You know, with that sticky-out heel? No? Is no one else seeing it? Am I alone in seeing chairs where there should be shoes?
Well, chair-like or not, I think these are nice enough, but not £850 of “nice”, so I won’t be buying. If you will be, you can do it at Net-a-Porter.
Ooooh, like! Very minimalist, yet interesting. But no, I don’t happen to have £850 just waiting to be spent on boots, so sadly I’ll have to pass…
