    OK, OK, I’m totally cheating with this Ruby Shoesday, because these shoes are only a little bit red rather than totally red. This morning, though, while I was pondering whether or not I could get away with using them for a Ruby Shoesday challenge, I happened to look at Shoegal, and saw that Fi had done exactly that. Well, that made up my mind for me, and the Lady Dragons were duly inducted into the Ruby Shoesday rotation. Now I just wish I’d thought of doing it sooner…

    Shoeperman was given a restaurant gift card for his birthday (which fell on our last day in Florida), so I got to benefit from it too. I think I like Shoeperman’s birthdays more than I like my own…

    These shoes are (or rather were – they’re a couple of years old now) New Look’s answer to Louboutin’s Gressimo pumps. I know, no one would be fooled. Hopefully I managed to distract everyone from my shoes, though, by being completely unable to walk up stairs in that skirt, which has no split, and is therefore a true “hobble” skirt. Good job I didn’t get chased by crazy robbers or anything on the way home.

    (I did have a little too much wine with dinner, though, which resulted in the purchase of the most fabulous polka-dot playsuit in Asda on the way home. Yes, I just used the words “Asda”, “playsuit” and “fabulous” in the same sentence. And I’m not even embarrassed, either…)
