Diego Dolcini’s Autumn/Winter 2010 collection uses a whole lot of python skin, but it’s been rendered almost unrecognizable in this shoe at least, which looks more like something you’d find in a museum of modern art than on someone’s feet.

Mixing pink, blue, green, purple and hold, these are also a mix of shapes and patterns, which zip up the back of the 4.3 inch heels.

What do you think of them? They’re £580 at Louisa Via Roma.

You can tell just by looking at these that they’re going to be heartbreaking expensive, can’t you? I’m sorry. I did actually set out today to find some more affordable shoes, but these were too stunning to be ignored, and so here they are, in all of their 800 euro gorgeousness. And just to rub it in a bit more, look:

If I hadn’t already fallen for the side view, that heel would’ve pushed me over the edge. These are real statement shoes, but they’re also wedges, and it’s summer, so I say if you can afford them, wear ‘em. If not for yourself, then do it for me.

They’re by Deigo Dolcini, and they’re 800 euros from Louisa Viaroma.
