THE SHOES: Topshop ‘Pristine’ leopard-print court shoes, £75

I can never resist a good leopard-print court shoe, and it;s rapidly becoming clear that I ALSO can’t resist ANY of Topshop’s current shoe offerings. I know I’ve shown you similar styles very recently, but I also know there are some of you who share my love of animal-print shoes, and, well, you can never have too many pairs of them, can you? I have two pairs in this style alone, for instance. Plus a pair of peep toes. I WOULD have leopard print pointed flats, but I haven’t found the perfect pair yet. I’m on the case, though!

These are called ‘Pristine’, and I don’t have a whole lot to say about them, other than that I consider this kind of style to be a shoe classic – and surprisingly versatile, too. If you’ve yet to be won over the wonder of the animal-print pump, these would be a good place to start: the have all of the impact I’ve come to associate with animal print, but the colours are fairly muted. so they won’t feel too garish. Autumn is also a good time of year to dip your toe into the animal-print waters, so to speak: the camels, brows and beiges which make up the print all work really well with the usual autumn offerings. Or you could always wear them with bright red:

COAT // JEANS // SWEATER

I’m a big fan of red with camel and/or leopard print, and while I don’t own any of these exact items, I do have versions of everything except the sweater (a cheaper version of which is currently on my wishlist!), so I’m planning to recreate this look at some point this autumn, perhaps with a trench coat rather than a wool one, if the weather stays warm enough!
