As you can probably tell, despite only buying one pair of flats on holiday, I’ve been more than making up for it since I’ve been back!

These shoes are the latest addition to my collection, and they’re a pair I’ve had my eye on for over a year now: in fact, I wrote about them in May of last year, and have been periodically re-visiting the Spartoo website, just to look at them. Last week they were finally reduced to a price I could afford (with the help of some Spartoo giftcards I’d been saving up), so I quickly placed an order and managed to get one of the last pairs of size 4s before they went out of stock: phew!

I had high expectations of these shoes, but the reality of them is even better than I’d hoped. They’re by Italian brand Sebastian, and made from a lovely, buttery-soft suede, with a pretty little flower detail on the toe and a beautifully shaped, curvy upper. The flower is off-set, making them very cute to glance down at when I’m wearing them, and, of course, the tan colour is one of my all-time favourites, and a shade I seem to wear constantly in the summer.

These have a five inch stiletto heel, which is pretty high, especially on a pair of non-platform court shoes. I’m not going to claim that they’re what you’d call “comfortable”, for that very reason – shoes this high just aren’t made for doing lots of walking in – but other than the height, they’re so beautifully made that they’re actually pretty comfortable: the soft leather doesn’t rub or pinch, and as long as you’re aware of the limitations caused by the heel heights (in other words, no marathons, but you’ll be fine for an evening out, say), they should be perfectly wearable.

As I mentioned, I ordered my usual size 4 in these, and they fit perfectly, so I’d say they’re true to size. If you’d like to buy a pair, there are still a few sizes left in the sale: they’re £175, and you can click here to buy them.

  • I am curious to see what you’ll pair them with. I like my tans and nudes where I want my shoes to kind of disappear, but the big flower and rhinestone detail clearly asks for the opposite. That said, the shape is exquisite.
