Are you ready to start thinking about winter yet?
Did you hear that sound? That was me throwing myself to the floor and yelling, “NO! NOOOOO!”
Think about it we must, though, and most of my favourite shoe brands are one step ahead, having already put together their winter collections. Here’s a quick look at a small selection of Schuh’s Autumn/Winter 2012 footwear.
For me, this collection seems to swing between the 90s and the 60s in terms of inspiration. There’s lots of Spice-girl style platform sneakers and chunky platforms, but also a few low heels and squarer toes, reminiscent of shoes from the 60s. Oh, and there’s at least one pair of Zanotti/McQueen inspired platforms, as you can see from the image above.
Take a look at the gallery to see some of the rest of the styles, and don’t forget to tell me what you think!
I love some of these shoes!! Sadly the summer sales have sucked up all my savings so I won’t be doing any shopping any time soon 🙁
I totally dig the gold glitter pumps and the red crazy halfwedge, but what in the name of the shoe god (Mr. Louboutin, of course) are those pink monstrosities???!
The platform wedge shoe boots are a bit terrifying, but I love the black and gold glitter combo on the sandals! (and the curvy heel of course)
Can’t say that any of those are really appealing to me. Maybe because it’s winter here and I am sick of it.
