Paul Andrew ‘Fatales’ pink bow sandals, $895
As soon as I saw these shoes, I knew they weren’t going to be cheap. You can tell just by looking at them, can’t you?
Well, I was right: at $895, that price tag may as well read “Dream on, ShoeperWoman!”, because these beauties are definitely not going to fit into my meagre budget: they’re already in low-stock in my size, though, so I suspect I ‘d be destined for disappointment even if that wasn’t the case! Oh well, they at least make shoeper eye candy: Paul Andrew is a brand which really excels at making beautiful evening shoes, most of which have some kind of fabulous embellishment – in this case, the bow on the heel, which is obviously the stand-out feature.
It’s not the ONLY thing that stands out about these shoes, though. I really love that soft pink satin upper, which has a glamorous, luxurious feel, exactly as an expensive pair of evening shoes should. There’s also a perfectly-shaped peep toe, and a little cut-out at the heel, which adds to the vaguely vintage feel these have.
So, what to wear with them?
These would be close to “nude” on me, allowing them to work with a wide variety of colours, but I really liked the idea of pairing them with black, so this is what I came up with:
pink peep toes and little black dress:
♥ River Island dress ♥ River Island necklace ♥ Carvela clutch bag ♥ MAC lipstick ♥ Butter London nail polish ♥ Too Faced Face Powder
As the shoes themselves are so expensive, I decided to save some money with the rest of this look: both the dress and necklace are from River Island, and the bag is Carvela. Now all I need to do is find a high street version of the shoes, and I’m all set!
God they’re perfect. I dont even like satin but i love everything about them
Glorious!
