For those of you in the market for a pair of pretty, summery sandals, but who don’t want to be tottering around on high heels, these River Island wedges could be a good compromise.
There is a small heel on these, so they’re give you a little bit of height, but the fact that it’s a wedge should make these much easier on the feet than many other strappy sandals. Meanwhile, the gold uppers and delicate straps make these ideal party wear, but you’d also be able to get away with wearing them casually with jeans.
I have very similar ones in black and they are the perfect alternative to strappy heeled sandals. But I must say, the gold ones are very nicer..
