As I’m sure many of my regular readers have gathered by now, I have a bit of a weakness for shoes that look like they’ve been gift-wrapped, and these Menbur slingbacks definitely fall into that category. I really like the way the floppy satin bow extends down to the sole of the shoe, creating the impression that it wraps all the way around, just like a fancy decoration on a parcel.
These shoes are worth taking a closer look at via the “zoom” button on the Sarenza website: what looks at fist like a plain, beige-coloured upper, actually a lovely, shimmery fabric, in the palest shade of gold – a subtle, but still glamorous look for a party or other special event.
These are £80.50: click here to buy them at Sarenza.
I dont care much for the shoe, but I really love the bow. I wish I could just take that, and apply to either a different shoe or a different garment or accessory altogether
I’m glad you mentioned how the fabric was nice and shimmery because I was thinking it was awful and dull.
