Karen Millen captoe wedges, £140
OK, I’m going to keep this one short, because I think I’ve probably said everything I’ll ever need to say about captoe shoes and all the ways in which I love them. I’ve also said a whole lot about wedges, and how they’re easier, and more comfortable to walk in, than stilettos, but still give you plenty of height, should you want it.
All that remains to be said about these shoes, then, is that they have all the good looks of a toecap stiletto, with all of the practicality of a pair of wedges.
And for that reason, I love them.
I really like these. They’re very ‘grown up’ shoes! I can imagine they’d be the kind you end up wearing over and over, the neutral colours would make them really easy to wear!
