After the increasingly bizarre styles they brought us last year, here’s a more conventionally pretty shoe from Dolce & Gabbana.
I know slides tend to divide opinion: a lot of people find them difficult to walk in, and it’s true that the absence of any heel-grip can make them live up to their names and slide off, bu I’ve always had a bit of a soft-spot for then. These ones are delicate and feminine looking, and the fact that you don’t see a whole lot of slides around these days makes them just a bit unusual, too.
They’re $495 at Saks.
Personally, I think slides are the most feminine type of shoes there is. And these are simple, yet lovely.

Ooh! Barbie shoes! They remind me of the little plastic slip on Barbie shoes that I always lost when I was little. These are pretty, but I have never mastered walking in slides without kicking them off.
Adorable. I’d totally wear them.
