Blue Suede Shoes: KG by Kurt Geiger ‘Bella’ Mary Janes

These shoes will no doubt be familiar to those of you who subscribe to the Kurt Geiger email service, and as soon as that message arrived in my inbox, I knew I was going to have a lot of trouble resisting them. They’re called ‘Bella’, and they’re well-named, because they truly are beautiful, mixing blue suede uppers with a green trim, strap and bow. Or at least, I think they’re blue: the KG website actually describes them as purple, and they do look purplish on the site itself. Hmm, I think I may have to check these out in person, strictly for research purposes.

Blue or purple, though, I think the colour combination is a great way to make a simple shape really pop, and they’ve gone straight onto my wish list. If you want to add them to yours, too, you can click here to view them on the Kurt Geiger website, where they’re currently retailing for £140.

P.S. For those of you who followed yesterday’s saga with the person who was using my photo and website banner on their Facebook page, I just wanted to quickly update to let you know that the person has now removed the photos and apologised. She claims to be “an admirer” who just liked the photos and didn’t realise she was doing something wrong by using them.

  • ah, I have the same problem when they say “purple” and I see “blue”. Here again, I see blue, but maybe in person they are purple… I looooved them, I love Mary Janes! But I’m angry at KG – or myself, in fact – cause I bought the Carvela Acorn for £140 and now they are £69 and they still have in my size. So, if I buy these now… and they have them for half the price in a few months, I’ll be angry again! Lol!

  • To me, they look more purple. And I want to love them, but somehow I don’t. Not sure why, because they tick all the individual boxes. As a whole, I’m not too sure. I think it’s the greenish trim that bothers me, I would’ve preferred a more contrasting colour.

  • A comment on the update: a have to call bullshit on that girl’s excuse. If she really was an admirer she’d know not to steal your photos. It’s Amber 101.

I do love those shoes. Jesus Kurt, what did my bank account ever do to you?

    • Lol at “Amber 101”! It is true though: I can’t imagine that anyone who actually reads my blogs would think I’d be OK with them stealing my photos and banner!
