Zara red, black and white strappy sandals

Zara red black and white sandals

I know I’ve been featuring a lot of Zara shoes here recently, but there is a reason for it (other than the fact that it’s my favourite high-street brand, that is): after what felt like (and probably was, actually) months worth of the same old stock, the new season shoes have been filtering through to the Zara website over the past few weeks, and I’ve been really loving the new collection. In fact, not a day goes by without Shoeperman thanking his lucky stars that we don’t have a Zara in our town.

These shoes are one of my favourites from the summer collection, and are what I think some of the 50s-inspired Prada sandals would look like if you took away the flames, and fins, and all of the other car-related details which make those shoes so unique, but also so ultimately unwearable for many of us.

It’s quite clever of Zara, then, to provide us with this pared-down alternative, which combines a red, black and white upper with a fabulous, strappy shape, and a think stiletto heel. I’d say more, but I think I’m going to have to look away from the screen now, because I’m starting to talk myself into buying these, and I don’t really need to spend £70 on shoes right now. That would be bad. (But also so, so good…)

If you DO need to spend £70 on these, and you need to do it RIGHT NOW, click here, and be my guest!
