Zara purple high heel sandals, £29.99
I’ve said it before, but purple is a colour that’s under-represented in the shoe world. We see tons of reds (not that I’m complaining, mind you – I love a red shoe as much as the next shoeperhero), plenty of pinks, and even quite a few greens and yellows. Purple, on the other hands, we don’t see quite so much of, and I’ve no idea why, because it has just as much impact as any of the aforementioned colours, and it can be suprisingly versatile, too.
These purple Zara sandals, for instant, would be the perfect pop of colour against a pair of dark denim jeans, and they’d also work really well with quite a few of the floral prints that are always around at this time of year. White will work, as will black, and navy could also be a nice contrast. Oh, and if colour is your think, I always think purple looks stunning with bright pink – a guaranteed attention-getter, for sure.
Colour aside, these sandals are standard Zara fare. They’ve been in the habit of releasing high, strappy sandals of some description for the last couple of summers, and they normally sell pretty well, and end up all over Pinterest for months to come. (Not to mention selling on eBay for twice the original price…) These ones might not be quite the instant sell-out of some of the brand’s previous releases, but at £29.99 they could be a good choice as one of those fun, pick-me-up purchases at the end of a bad week. I don’t know about you, but a great pair of heels will never fail to put a smile on my face, and when they come in a stand-out colour, then so much the better.
Now to find a dress to go with them…
