Looking for an office-appropriate court shoe that’s a little more interesting than the standard black pump? Trust good ol’ Dorothy Perkins to come up with the goods!
These high heeled pumps have a closed toe and heel, which should make them appropriate for office environments in which bare toes are a no-no, but the two-tone upper adds a bit of interest that’s all-too-often lacking in the standard “work” shoes. The black/nude version will be particularly useful here, as the colourway is very classic, and easy to pair with most things, but if you feel like being more adventurous, the coral version is bright and summery, but with less impact than a jewel-tone, say.
I really like the design of the uppers, which are sleek and sophisticated, but without the price-tag I generally associate with those words. The reason for that, of course, comes in the materials: this is a suedette/textile mix, which won’t be as high quality as leather, but on the plus side, at that price you might not have to choose between them!
