Pointed toe pumps with heavily embellished toes seem to be Ted Baker’s “thing” right now, in the same way that puffy, layered bows (the ‘Mayter‘ and ‘Keanah‘ styles) were their “thing” a few seasons ago. I always appreciate a brand with a signature style, and I also appreciate these ‘Annabilla’ suede pumps, which come in this spectacular shade of bright blue.
These closely follow the current Ted Baker formula: there’s a statement upper (this one is suede, whereas most of the others have been satin), a slim stiletto heel, and then the centrepiece of the entire design – THAT TOE. This one has a round, vintage-inspired brooch embellishment, in two shades of blue, which match the suede upper perfectly. They’re the kind of dress shoes that make a statement all by themselves, and don’t really need any extra help from the rest of the outfit, so here’s a simple evening look to wear with them:
