As it starts to get closer to summer (well, hopefully. You never really know in this country, do you?), I start to find myself drawn to much chunkier styles of shoes than I tend to go for in winter. They’re a great way to offset the floatiness of a summer dress or skirt, and they tend to be a little more comfortable than their spindly-heeled sisters, too.
These Zandra Rhodes sandals come in my current favourite summer colour, turquoise, and also have a gold trim on both the platform and heel, which is a lovely touch. The wooden sole and heel, meanwhile, gives them a nice, summery feel, which I love.
They’re £150, and they’re available at My-Wardrobe.

At a time when so many shoes look exactly the same as each other, these BCBG Max Azria pumps at least have the benefit of being different.
