Do you love stilettos? Like, really, REALLY love them? Enough to wear them on a chain around your neck, to show the whole world how much you love them? (Or perhaps just to have a handy weapon in case of attack?) Well, if so, The Fashion Police have found the necklace for you. It’s by Azumi & David and it features your choice of stiletto on a chain. No prices as yet, because these are part of the Fall/Winter collection, but if you want one for your own, keep an eye on this spot. And tell me: would you wear this? Or do you prefer to keep your shoes firmly on your feet? Most wanted from our sponsorsShoeperwoman’s Shoes: Faith’s Lecloud peeptoe stiletto slingbacks
These are their ‘Lecloud’ slingbacks, and they’re also available in silver or snake print, but I was in need of a pair of black peep toes, so I decided to play it “safe”. Was I in need of black peep toes with a 4.3″ heel and 1″ platform? Well, no, not really, but these are such a great mish-mash of designer styles, with the peep toe courtesy of YSL’s Tribute pumps and the red sole by way of Mr Louboutin (Faith have been using red on their soles for a while now: I wonder what the aforementioned Mr L thinks of it?), I figured they’d come in handy. I also managed to pick up this little green dress for £16 at Asda this weekend: bargain!

Georgina Goodman ‘Hilda’ peep toe court shoes in hot pink
I’ve never really been what you’d call a “pink” girl. In fact, it may surprise those of you who know me in real life to hear it, but when I was a kid, I was actually a bit of a tomboy. Sure, I liked Barbie as much as the next girl, but I was never one of those little girls who insisted on wearing head to toe pink, and it’s still not a colour I wear much of as an adult – and not just because so many shades of pink clash horribly with my red hair. When it comes to pink shoes, though, I somehow just can’t go past them, and the more “Barbie” they look, the better. These Georgina Goodman peep toes are so very pink they have an almost trashy look to them, but I adore the little embellishments on the heel, I love the stripes on the soles, and when you look at them in black, you suddenly have a much more sophisticated looking shoe:
See? These are £350 and you can buy them at My-Wardrobe.

L.A.M.B’s Lesley One Band Feather Sandals
Apologies for writing about L.A.M.B again so soon after the last time, but I spotted these ‘Lesley’ sandals at Shopbop today, and wondered what you all think of them, Now, I’m no friend of feathers. It’s one of those irrational, not-quite-a-phobia things that I can’t rationally explain, but feathers tend to creep me out a little bit – or at least they do when they’re not attached to birds. So these shoes don’t really do it for me, even although they’re unusual and dramatic enough to get my attention, and I usually love L.A.M.B shoes (with the exception of those last ones). What do you think of them? If you love them, they’re $355 from Shopbop.

Shoe Kryptonite: Nicholas Kirkwood platform peep toe shoes
I’ve already nominated Christian Louboutin as the King of Shoes, but if that’s the case, then I think British designer Nicholas Kirkwood must be the Prince. Kirkwood’s designs are a little more unconventional than Louboutin’s, and that, of course, means that they don’t always appeal to everyone, but I think these platform peep toes are true Shoe Kryptonite: i.e. they make my resolve (and my bank account) disappear on contact with them. That very defined platform sole is a Nicholas Kirkwood trademark, and it’s what makes these shoes so special, although the gold stiletto doesn’t hurt either. Sadly for me, but perhaps fortunately for the aforementioned bank balance, these don’t come cheap, however: they’re £420 at Browns.

Christian Louboutin glitter platform pumps
Clearly these shoes would have to be special. They would have to be head-turning, jaw-dropping, and all of those other phrases that imply “Whooaa, look at those shoes!” They wouldn’t necessarily have to be the kind of shoes you’d wear every day, or even on a regular basis, but they would have to be the kind of shoes I’d happily put up on display here at my secret hideout, when I wasn’t wearing them. They’d have to be shoe kryptonite – the kind of footwear that will easily destroy both my willpower and my sanity. In other words, they would have to be Christian Louboutin’s glitter platform pumps. These fulfill all of the criteria outlined above, plus they’d make me feel like a princess. A slightly OTT kind of princess, sure, but a princess all the same. By my very favourite designer, they’re $745, and you can buy them at Saks.
