I’ve shown you versions of Louboutin’s ‘Lady Peep’ platforms before, but I hope you’ll forgive one more, because a shoe like this just demands to be seen, doesn’t it?

These are actually sold out online at the moment, despite the $1,375 price tag, so this picture is a close as I’m likely to get to them. Ah, well, a girl can dream…

Quick Public Service Annoucement: the Christian Louboutin ‘Daffodil’ pumps are now available in bright yellow suede at Net-a-Porter, although probably not for long, because although these are $995, and only hit the site this morning, they’re already selling out fast.

NAP also currently has the Pigalle Spikes 120, which I would dye my hair for:

Celebrity Shoes: Elle Macpherson in Christian Louboutin’s ‘Lucifer’ spike bow pumps

These possibly wouldn’t be most women’s choice of footwear for the morning school run, but then again, most women aren’t Elle Macpherson, and I’m going to hazard a guess that she probably didn’t have to worry about having to walk very far in them. I really hope not, anyway, because that’s a five inch heel with no platform: I have only one pair of shoes with those exact dimensions in my collection, and even I, shoe superhero that I am, can barely walk in them.

These are Christian Louboutin’s spiked ‘Lucifer’ pumps, and they retail for $995. The Shoemeister’s spiky styles don’t tend to find much favour with my readers, but I adore them, and think this particular pair is just prickly perfection.

Friday Night Louboutin Fix: Christian Louboutin Yolanda Spikes 120 studded leather pumps

Now, I’ll be honest: I’m not totally sure how I feel about these shoes? I want to like them, and as you’ve probably noticed, I’m a bit of a sucker for spikes, but the combination of blue and gold is maybe just a little bit much. Maybe if the spikes were silver? Or the blue a little less… blue?

Still, as I scrolled through page after page of Louboutins looking for tonight’s Friday Fix, these were the ones that jumped right out of the page, and then slapped me around the head a little. In other words, they seemed to be looking for attention, and I thought it was only right to give it to them. Also, I was too scared to refuse them. Well, you can see those spikes can’t you?

    What do you think?

    Whoa, mama!

Well, at least no one would ever stand on your toes while you were wearing these, would they? Not more than once, anyway.

They’re KG by Kurt Geiger’s ‘Electric’ shoe boots, and they’re the proof that the shoe world isn’t done with studs and spikes quite yet. Are you done with them, though? If the answer to that is “nope, never!” you can click here to buy them at Selfridges for £180.
