Office Touche Kouche blue glitter pom-pom shoes

office touche kouche glitter shoes Office Touche Kouche blue glitter pom pom shoes

These shoes are here pretty much just for the laughs. I mean, lookit! They’re like clown shoes for high-heel lovers! They do make me smile, though, even although I can’t imagine a single situation in which I’d want to wear them, costume parties aside.

Look, they come in white, too:

They’re slightly less gigglesome in this colour, so if you want  to buy them, why all you have to do is click here and be ready to hand over £88.

Would you wear them?

Roland Cartier polka dot pom pom court shoes

roland cartier pompom shoes Roland Cartier polka dot pom pom court shoes

Pom poms. It looks like they’re shaping up to be my latest shoe-obsession. First there was those Untold peep toes, and now these little beauties by Roland Cartier, which come in dusky pink or basic black, and are completely and utterly plain… except, of course for that explosion of polka dot on the toe. Oh yes: the polka dot. Great move to add it to a pom pom, don’t you think? It basically guarantees the shoe in question a spot on Shoeperwoman.com, and so here they are! Oh, and they’re a fairly reasonable £55, too.

Get them at Debenhams.

Untold ‘Anoushka’ pom-pom trim peep toe shoes

untold anoushka pumps Untold Anoushka pom pom trim peep toe shoesI have the lovely Dolly Clackett to blame thank for drawing my attention to these shoes. Sadly, they only have them in black on the House of Fraser website, but having seen her photo of the navy version that’s available in-store, I can confirm that they’re much prettier in real life than they look in this photo, and while the pom-pom on the front is just a little bit extravagant, I personally feel that can only be a good thing, because if you can’t be extravagant when it comes to shoes, when can you?

Speaking of extravagant, these are £85. You can buy a pair here.

Acne black ‘Agate’ pom-pom sandals

acne pom pom sandals Acne black Agate pom pom sandalsOoh! I used to make pom-poms just like that when I was a kid! You know, with the two circles of cardboard, and the wool? OK, so maybe mine didn’t turn out exactly like the ones on these black sandals. Mine were probably a little more straggly and sad looking. But still: if only I’d thought to attach them to a pair of shoes, I could’ve sold them for £485 per pair and been rich by now – rich, I tells ya!

Ah, well. We can’t all be shoe designers! The pom-poms on these sandals are detachable, and I think that’s a very good thing, because I can’t imagine a single situation in my life in which I’d be likely to want or need to wear shoes that look like this. Once you force your eyes away from the “clown” element, however, there’s actually a really nice shoe hidden underneath: it’s just a shame the embellishments are so very distracting!
