This year, however, Hetty is making the move to ready-to-wear, with a new collection due to launch in October, and premiering at London Fashion Week in September. Prices start at £150, and the shoes will be available to order through the Hetty Rose website. If you can’t wait until then, however, I’ve provided a sneak peak under the jump! Most wanted from our sponsorsAruna Seth ‘Cerise’ diamante wedges in nude and black
It’s one hell of a heel, isn’t it? And I can totally understand why it wouldn’t be to everyone’s taste: it’s just so over-the-top that it’d be suitable for only the dressiest of occasions. If you have such an occasion to attend, though, I think this would be a show-stopper of a shoe, and the nude version could make a nice bridal shoe, too. The two colours shown here are £625 from Aruna Seth, however there’s also a black snakeskin version which is even more expensive at £725. View them all at the Aruna Seth website. Customised retro peep toe shoes: ‘Picnic Basket’ by Shoe Missy
These ‘Picnic Basket’ peep toes are absolutely adorable, with their over sized gingham bows and pale blue uppers. So adorable, in fact, that they’re sold out at the Shoe Missy website. Don’t despair, though, because I managed to track them down to Pin-Up Parade, who are stockists of the brand, as well as selling a range of retro-style clothes which have me drooling every time I look at them. Enjoy! (And don’t blame me if your credit card ends up taking a severe beating…)
