I showed you the peep toe version of these shoes earlier this year, and now here’s the closed-toe version!
As I said about the first pair of these shoes I featured, although I’m a big fan of Sophia Webster shoes in general, I think the “butterfly heel” styles would have to be my absolute favourites. There’s something so delicate and ethereal about these shoes, and the butterfly wings on the heel are a truly stunning detail. Not that these wouldn’t be cute without them, of course: they have a great, pointed-toe shape, and a fabulous colour, which I always think of as “lipstick pink”. It’s one of those shades that never fails to turn heads, and these shoes definitely turned mine when I saw them over at Neiman Marcus this week.
What to wear with Sophia Webster ‘Yara’ pumps?
My first thought when styling these was to give full reign to my ongoing obsession with the colour pink, and pair the pink shoes with an equally pink outfit. Well, it’s not like I haven’t done it before, is it? This is such a bright shade of pink, however, that the result of that particular experiment was a little bit much, even for me, so I’m indulging my polka dot obsession instead, with this little peplum top from Dorothy Perkins, which is a bit of a steal at just £18. The pale pink “sunglasses”, meanwhile, aren’t actually sunglasses at all, but a Charlotte Olympia clutch bag. As with the other Charlotte Olympia bags I’ve featured, the price of this is prohibitively expensive (read: totally and utterly ridiculous), but I like the way quirky clutches like this one can give an instant “lift” to an outfit.
